Welcome to the Official Debbie Quinn Fitness Website

I’m delighted to officially launch my brand-new website — a dedicated space where I can share my passion for health, fitness, and wellbeing with people across Newtownards, Ards and North Down, and throughout Northern Ireland.

For nearly 50 years, I’ve been teaching fitness and wellness classes in Northern Ireland, specialising in Active Aging, Chair Yoga, Chair Fitness, Dance Fit, Pilates, Step Aerobics, and Yoga. My goal has always been simple: to help people of all ages improve their strength, mobility, balance, and confidence through exercise.


A Fitness Journey Rooted in Northern Ireland

I began my career at Shankill Leisure Centre, where I transformed my own life through exercise before dedicating myself to helping others. Today, I continue to teach at the Blair Mayne Leisure Centre in Newtownards, as well as working with local charities and nursing homes to support residents with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and recovery after strokes or falls.

My work has been recognised with the Northern Ireland Health & Fitness Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Fitness Industry for two consecutive years — an achievement that reflects my lifelong dedication to improving lives through movement.

    Information on classes such as Chair Yoga, Dance Fit, Pilates, and Yoga. Please note that group classes are booked directly through the Leisure Centre.

    I regularly give talks on the benefits of exercise as we age, and I’m available for conferences, community groups, workshops, and events. Public speaking allows me to share my message with wider audiences and encourage people across Northern Ireland to keep moving.

  • Personal Training in Northern Ireland
    I offer one-to-one training at home, including Step Aerobics, Chair Yoga, Chair Fitness, and strength training — ideal for seniors, beginners, or those with mobility challenges.

    This blog will feature advice, tips, and updates on Active Aging, healthy living, mobility, fall prevention, and the importance of staying active later in life.
